Easy Cleaning

Caring for your investment in Lusovara Quartz is simple. Our quartz products never require sealing, polishing, or reconditioning and are stain resistant. To clean just use a little warm water & a soft cotton cloth. You can also use soap if desired.

Surface Damage

Lusovara products are made to be durable. However any stone surface can be damaged or chipped if used in wrong circumstances or abused. Hitting edges anywhere on your surface, such as around sinks and dishwashers could cause chips or other damage. While not likely, cutting on any quartz surface can cause damage or at the very least cause scratch marks to show. It is best to always use a cutting board.

Stain Resistant

By nature quartz countertops are nonporous and nonabsorbent. This make them resistant to stains & reduces potential bacterial growth. Most residue can be removed with warm water and a soft cloth or sponge. If color is left behind, for example, from a temporary wine spill, baking soda can be mixed with water and left to dry on the surface this will wick the color into it away from the counter. It is important to note, harsh cleaners or acidic liquids, if left on the surface can damage, stain, or dull the finish.

Effects of Heat

Rapid or sudden changes in temperature or prolonged exposure to heat damage quartz just like natural stone. Lusovara recommends the use of a closed-weave hot pad, wooden cuttingboard/breadboard, or metal cooling rack under pots and pans, or any other device, appliance, or item that experiences high temps.

Things to Avoid with your quartz

1. Do not expose Lusovara Quartz or any other quartz product to abrasive, strong alkaline, acid, free radicals, oxidizers, or other harsh cleaners regardless of their pH levels. Various chemicals are corrosive and/or erosive and will attack materials used in these surfaces.

2. Lusovara Quartz or any other quartz are not a heat-proof, chemical-proof, or fracture-proof. Please be conscious of the potential damage that can be caused.

3. Do not use or expose Lusovara Quartz to harsh or abrasive cleaning products, including, but not limited to, bleach, oven cleaners, Comet^®️, Soft Scrub^®️, S.O.S.^®️ pads, products with pumice, batteries, paint removers, furniture strippers, tarnish or silver cleaners, or the like.

4. Do not use any sealers, penetrants, or topical treatments on Lusovara Quartz or any other quartz products under any circumstances. These products can wear off and take the gloss or proper surface finish with it.

5. Damage caused by any of the above is not covered under our 50 year warranty.
